Romaric Awarded Worldwide License Contract

Romaric announced today that Infineon Technologies AG has purchased a worldwide license of the company’s Roma MD Material Control System, as well as RES-Q, the company’s emulator for automated material handling and transport systems.
The initial installation is scheduled for completion in Q1 2015 at Infineon’s front-end fab in Regensburg, Germany. After substantial completion of this initial project, Infineon has now exercised its contractual option to purchase the worldwide license.
Covered under the worldwide license are all frontend and backend facilities, including existing frontend fabs in Austria, Malaysia, and Germany.
