Romaric Sets the Standard for Project Acceptance
February 20, 2008 / Sandy, Utah
Rory M. Gagon, President of Romaric says, “It has to be a record,” referring to the 16 days from the time the MCS software team traveling to the Spansion Fab 25 site in Austin, Texas, to the time the customer accepted the system and began using it in production.
Russel Shirley, head of AMHS automation for the fab said, I’ve looked for a reason to not accept the Roma MD system, but all the tests have been passed and it’s working in production.”
The typical time frame for an MCS installation team to be onsite is 3-6 months.
