Over the Years

2001

Three software engineers, Rory Gagon, Mark Swanson and Eric Baggaley found Romaric in Sandy, Utah, USA

^

Collectively they have 30 years of experience developing and installing Material Control Systems (MCS) of robotic transport and storage devices in warehouses and semiconductor frontend fabs

^

Begins development of a Material Control System for a new automated material handling system (“AMHS”) for a long-established supplier in the semiconductor industry

^
2003

2003 First instance of MCS is deployed in a Singapore front-end semiconductor fab

^
2004-2006

Plays an important and integral role to help the leading semiconductor AMHS provider, Daifuku create and deliver its next-gen MCS

^
2007

Releases the first version of the Romaric Automation Control Engine (RACE™)

^
2008

Releases and installs of three new products powered by RACE™ Roma MD™, RES-Q™ and RACE Track™.

2009

Releases and install a fourth product powered by RACE™ RACE Purge™ (now rebranded as RACE PLC™)

^

Romaric joins the family of Roth & Rau GmbH, and begins integration of over 20 manufacturing execution system (“MES”) instances in the solar industry

2012

Romaric becomes an independent and focuses again on its RACE™ products, regaining its footing in the semiconductor industry

^
2014

Begins assisting older fabs to stay viable by increasing throughput (moves per hour) by up to 30% with its Roma MD™ MCS

^

Signs a worldwide license agreement with Infineon for Roma MD™ and RES-Q™

^
2016

Licenses its source code to Alert Innovation and begins work to assist in deployment of the Alphabot system in Walmart stores

^

Wins additional Roma MD™ deployments in direct competition with largest competitor
RACE™ is now installed in the USA, Europe and China

2018

Opens an office in Hsinchu, Taiwan to support the Asian markets
Wins its first international source code licensing deal

2019

Completes deployment of Roma MD™ for one of the world’s largest semiconductor foundry companies

Joins the pretisgious INC 5000 list for the first time. Continues to win semiconductor MCS projects against largest competitors

2021

Completes installation number 70 of its 2021 RACE™ product set
Celebrates 20 years of keeping commitments

Releases RACE 7™ allowing clients to create their own automation product or application

Achieves a ranking on the INC 5000 for the third consecutive year
Receives largest purchase order in its history
